Greetings! I’m Justin, a Black queer writer, performer, and educator creating and uplifting vibrant stories for a better world.

Since much of the world “returned to normal," it's been more challenging to find virtual programs, opportunities, and spaces that are still accessible for people shielding and isolating to avoid contracting and spreading COVID-19. I know I’m not the only person still looking for virtual things to do, and thus so very virtual was born!

This weekly-ish newsletter features:

  • online opportunities such as fellowships, jobs, and programs, mostly geared toward artists and creative types

  • free and low-cost virtual events such as workshops, conferences, and classes

  • online resources, such as databases, websites, and pandemic-related printouts

This weekly online opportunities email and the offline + outside guides are free to read for everyone.

If you’re new, I encourage you to start with this pandemic resource roundup. Then head over to a guide to getting masks in 2024.

If you have an action alert, event, opportunity, or resource to share, submit here!

Stay safe!

Justin ✨

ps - so very virtual is on hiatus until 2025. see you then!
